Privacy Statement

This notice explains, one heading at a time, which information passes through random-video.chat, for what purpose and for how long. You will not find user accounts, analytics tools, advertising networks or tracking cookies on this site.

1. Delivery by Cloudflare

The pages are hosted and delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. Each request involves technical connection data such as your IP address, the approximate area it maps to, browser and device type, the time and the address requested. This is needed to send the page to you, to block abusive traffic and to run the regional check below. We do not use these logs to profile visitors; Cloudflare keeps them according to its own privacy policy.

2. The regional check

For every request, a small piece of code at the edge looks at the country Cloudflare reports, and inside the US at the state. Some countries are turned away entirely. If the request comes from Britain, the EEA (EU included) or a US state that demands age verification, the age card adds a line saying that the provider may check your age on its own site. The result of this check is not stored anywhere.

3. The age answer kept in this tab

When you confirm that you are 18 or over, your browser saves one entry in session storage. Name: rvc_adult. Content: the digit 1, nothing else. Purpose: the age card does not have to ask again on every page, which an adults-only site strictly needs. Duration: only while the tab is open; closing the tab or the browser deletes it, and the next visit asks again. No cookie is involved, and the entry never travels to our server. As no other entry and no cookie exists, there is no cookie banner.

4. Messages sent with the form

When you use the contact form, the text, the subject you selected and any return address you add are filed in a small key-value database run under our own Cloudflare login. Nothing passes through a mail service, a form vendor or a captcha provider. They are used for answering you and for handling data or rights requests. Every message removes itself one year after it arrives, or earlier if you request it.

5. The live chat and partner links

Behind Start sits a chat that Coomeet, an outside company, operates. Our pages pull in nothing from Coomeet, neither a script nor a frame, and they never request your camera or microphone. Start is a plain link to /video-start on this site, which passes the new tab on to Coomeet's own website without storing anything, and from then on your browser talks directly to Coomeet, which includes your IP address and, if you permit it there, camera, microphone and typed messages. Coomeet's own terms and privacy policy cover that processing, and Coomeet may store data in your browser on its site. That forward adds a partner code and a channel name so that registrations can be credited to this site; neither contains anything about you.

6. Your rights

You can ask us at any time what information about you we hold, and have it corrected, deleted or restricted for a given purpose. Residents of California hold these rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA; comparable rights apply in several other US states, in the United Kingdom and across the EU. We never sell visitor information and never hand it over for advertising that follows people across sites, and exercising your rights will never put you at a disadvantage. Requests go through tuck in a message, and we respond within 45 days.

7. Under-18s

This site is not aimed at people below 18. Should data about a minor reach us anyway, tell us and it will be erased immediately.

8. Updates

Each time this notice is revised, the date at the top changes too.
